In a world saturated with stimuli, opinions, words, and noise, silence becomes not only an act of resistance but a sanctuary. In this exhibition, we propose silence not as absence, but as a magical space where we respond to the subtle call of the Universe to bring forth the very essence of our soul.

"Silencios del alma" (Silences of the Soul) calls upon artists to explore silence and disconnection from external stimuli in order to map out their internal emotional geography—a topography made of pauses, breaths, intuitions, and unexplored states of perception. Silence as a threshold, an altar, a channel. It is in that (seemingly) empty space where true inspiration arises, where the soul hears what noise does not allow.

Silence can also be refuge, memory, mourning, contemplation, healing. This exhibition celebrates that invisible territory where minimal gestures, veiled symbols, and the textures of the soul take shape. We inhabit silence in order to inhabit our bodies and consciousness from another place.

The exhibition invites communion with the unspoken, with that which can only be felt: art as whisper, as prayer, as echo of the sacred.

En un mundo saturado de estímulos, opiniones, palabras y ruido, el silencio se vuelve no solo un acto de resistencia, sino un santuario. En esta exposición, proponemos el silencio no como ausencia, sino como un espacio mágico donde respondemos al llamado sutil del Universo para manifestar la esencia más profunda de nuestra alma.

“Silencios del alma” convoca a artistas a explorar el silencio y la desconexión de los estímulos externos como vía para trazar la geografía emocional interna: una topografía hecha de pausas, respiros, intuiciones y estados de percepción aún inexplorados. El silencio como umbral, como altar, como canal. Es en ese espacio —aparentemente— vacío donde surge la inspiración verdadera, donde el alma escucha lo que el ruido no permite oír.

El silencio también puede ser refugio, memoria, duelo, contemplación, sanación. Esta muestra celebra ese territorio invisible donde los gestos mínimos, los símbolos velados y las texturas del alma cobran forma. Habitamos el silencio para habitar nuestro cuerpo y nuestra conciencia desde otro lugar.

La exposición es una invitación a entrar en comunión con lo no dicho, con aquello que solo puede sentirse: el arte como susurro, como oración, como eco de lo sagrado.

GUIDELINES:

• Open to visual artists of all nationalities, ages, and backgrounds.

• Winners will be part of our online exhibition from August 15th, 2025 to September 15th, 2025, appear on our social media, and become a part of our physical exhibit in the future.

• 2D, 3D, digital, and audiovisual works accepted.

• Artists may submit up to 3 pieces.

• No submission feem but selected artists will be asked to pay a $35 USD fee to cover administrative expenses.

• Deadline: July 31st, 2025.
